Novo RV FAQ’s

Q: What types of RVs do you have available for rent?

A: We have a variety of Class B, and Class C RVs available for rent. These include luxury motorhomes, family-friendly models, and compact camper vans

Q: Are the RVs pet-friendly?

A: Yes, most of our RVs are pet-friendly. However, we do ask that pets are well-behaved and that any damage caused by them is covered by the renter. The pet fee is $350.

Q: How old do I need to be to rent an RV?

A: You must be at least 25 years old to rent an RV from Novo RV.

Q: What is included in the rental price?

A: Our rental packages include the RV, liability insurance, and 24-hour roadside assistance. We offer two options: a fully loaded package with all the amenities such as linens, kitchenware, and camping equipment, or a basic package with just the RV. Additional miles and final bill fees are separate and can be added to your package.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: Cancellations made more than 30 days before the rental start date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the rental start date will lose 50% of the entire booking cost.

Q: Are there any additional fees?

A: There may be additional fees for things like cleaning, fuel, and mileage. These will be clearly outlined in the rental agreement.

Q: Are RVs difficult to operate?

A: No, our RVs are very user-friendly and everything can be done with the touch of a button. On pick-up, an agent will go over every single functionality with you and you will be a pro by the time you leave with the RV. We will also send you an introduction/orientation video covering all of this and more. If you have any questions or forget something while on your trip, we are available to assist you.

Q: What is the minimum rental period?

A: We have a three-night (3 nights) price minimum. You are welcome to return the RV earlier if you’d like, however, there will be no refunds for days not used.

Q: Can I take the RV out of the country?

A: Yes. You will need an approval from Novo RV, international insurance for the RV and you can go in Canada or Mexico.

Q: What is included in the rental price?

A: The rental price includes the RV, liability insurance, and 24-hour roadside assistance. We offer two simple packages: a fully loaded package with all additional items such as linens, kitchenware, and camping equipment, and a basic package with nothing included. Additional items or miles can be added for an additional fee.

Q: Can I tow a vehicle with the RV?

A: Yes, our vehicles have a 2 1/2 standard female hitch and can tow up to 5,000 lbs. However, we do not provide towing equipment.

Q: Where can I dump, fill up propane, water, etc.?

A: Most campgrounds or RV parks will provide dump access upon your departure. If you need to dump on the go, you can find many gas station facilities such as Pilot or Love’s that offer dumping stations. You can also use smartphone apps like Park Advisor to locate appropriate dumping stations along your route. Gas stations can also offer water and propane refills, simply search for “propane refill near me” or check U-Haul locations for convenient services.

Q: Where can I park or stay overnight?

A: Campgrounds, RV parks, rest stations, and most parking units in the back or general street parking can accommodate our Class C RV vehicles (24-25′ long). Some resources for finding locations or reserving include ReserveAmerica, KOA Campgrounds, and the Park Advisor app for smartphones.

Q: What are the requirements for renting an RV?

A: To rent an RV from Novo RV, you will need to be over 25 years old, have a valid driver’s license, insurance and a credit card / debit card in your name.

Q: What do I need to do prior to returning the RV?

A: Please fill up the tank with diesel to the same level at which you received it. Also, please refill the liquid propane and dump the gray and black water tanks. We can dump the tanks for you if you elect to pay for it upon check-in or at the end of your rental. If you choose not to refill the RV, we can do it for you at a higher price per gallon for diesel and/or liquid propane. Also, the RV must be returned in a clean and sanitized condition
